Links...

I couldn't find a link in one of my peer's blogs that was useful so I thought I would do some research and come up with a link myself. I found this link to be very helpful for our game: http://www.ypte.org.uk/environmental/endangered-animals-of-the-world/24 this website has a lot of information is is pretty interesting. It is a wonderful site to visit if you want to learn more about endangered animals.

Relates to Our Game Topic

I think this link: http://www.endangeredspecie.com/ tells a lot about its topic. I like this link because it tells you everything you really need to know like why save endangered animals or what animals are endangered in specific areas. I also choose these two pictures because the first one shows a few of the endangered animals and the second one shows that the animals are endangered and they need help.

Knowledge

In the Process of making our game my partner and I have learned a lot about our game topic. We have learned about the endangered animals in our game.Where they live, why they are endangered, how many are left, what they eat are just some things we have learned about these poor creatures. We have aquired this knowledge because we were commited to learning about this topic because we thought it would be a good topic for a learning game.If I could talk to "knowledge producers" I wouldn't tell them anything about improving their resources to help improve my learning my learning process because I learned basically everything I need to know about the endangered animals.I feel that to improve myself learning process by paying closer attetion to what I'm learning and concentrating harder.

Sound

I'm pretty sure that when we add sound it will just be kind of like a bell when you get it right and a sound like oh no when you get it wrong. We may even decide not to use any kinds of sounds at all, i guess it all depends on what we decide to really do.I think it would be a good idea to get sounds of the animals (for example a tiger) and ever time you get the right animal in the correct habitat or you match it up to it's name it will make a noise (like a growl or something) that belongs to that animal. If we did the animal noises it would enhance our game by showing the players the kind of sounds that specific endangered animal makes.

My Thoughts about Flash

My thoughts about flash are pretty simple, I don't like it very much.Flash is confusing and sometimes complicated. You have so many things to do in flash and you have to do some things precisely, for instance the codes. If you don't do the codes right the first time then nothing will work and you have to go back and figure out what went wrong with the codes. With all of the tools and tbe library and properties tab it can get pretty hectic if you don't know what you're doing.Flash, for me, is not fun so I don't care for it.

Flash Topic

The two main flash topics my partner and I will use in our game is the Text Box and the Rectangle tool because our game is going to be a series of minigames. The Text Box will be used for the next buttons, the titles, the intros and directions, and some of the games. The Rectangle tool will be used for some of the games and the next buttons. I think our learning topic is a good one and I think our game explains  and teaches our topic and our ideas very well. We could improve this by having more games in it that explains the endangered animals' stories.

Scenes

The scenes in our game in our game tells the players a lot about the topic of the game. In our game you have to drag and drop the animals to their correct habitat, match an animal to its correct name, and answer some interesting facts about endangered animals. When they are in this order it shows that these animals are really endangered and sometimes how they have been put in that predicament. It helps the players learn about endangered animals by having facts about them, showing their name and their picture, and showing them with their habitat.WV Animals Rescue Squad was one of the games in the Playing to learn assignment that showed the players a lot about their topic. While playing that particular game you learn how to take care of three types of animals. From playing this game we learned that we should really show our players exactly what wae are trying to show them with our game.

Drawing A Scene

We finished the drawing a scene selection, it didn't take as long as we thought it would because it wasn't very complicated. The research was easy as well considering we pretty much knew what we had to research. The knowlege thatwe collected for the game is very useful for every day information. We learned plenty of new concepts that we learned in the process of making our game demo. The endangered animals list is a good concept,it lists every animal that is endangered and animals that are becoming endangered. The information we have collect for our game has been very helpful to us while creating our game.

Learning From Our Game Idea

My partner and I have learned a lot about our game topic. We have learned many facts about the endangered animals in our game. We learned about their food choices, their habitats, why they are extinct, basically their whole lifestyle. We learned this by researching it on the internet. The source most useful was google, it was the main website we used because it was the fastest way to find pictures of the animals and websites that would tell us facts about the animal we wanted to research.
